CERTIFICATION

Patty Warren, Director of Negotiations, for Teamsters Local 174.

Hannah Hollander, Labor Negotiator, Office of Financial Management, for the Washington State Ferries.

Teamsters Local 174 represents a bargaining unit of employees at the Washington State Ferries who performed delivery and warehouse work at the employer’s Sixth Avenue facility. The Public Employment Relations Commission did not certify the bargaining unit, has not clarified the bargaining unit, and it appears the bargaining unit was established through voluntary recognition.

On January 23, 2024, the union filed a written disclaimer of all representation rights concerning the delivery and warehouse bargaining unit, effective immediately.

ORDER

Teamsters Local 174’s request is granted. Teamsters Local 174 no longer represents the bargaining unit.
