On June 20, 2017, this agency certified the Sheriff’s Support Services Guild as the exclusive bargaining representative of employees at Lewis County. The bargaining unit is described as:
All full-time and regular part-time noncommissioned employees in the Support Technician I and II, Accountant, and Support Supervisor/DEM Planner job classes working in the Department of Emergency Management of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, excluding supervisors, confidential employees, and all other employees.

On December 6, 2023, the union filed a written disclaimer of all representation rights concerning the noncommissioned employees bargaining unit, effective immediately.
ORDER
Sheriff’s Support Services Guild’s request is granted. The certification issued in Lewis County, Decision 12733 (PECB, 2017) is withdrawn, and Sheriff’s Support Services Guild no longer represents the bargaining unit.
