ORDER WITHDRAWING

CERTIFICATION

 

On June 29, 1976, this agency certified Teamsters Local 231 as the exclusive bargaining representative of police officers employed by the City of Lynden. City of Lynden, Decision 76 (PECB, 1976). At that time the bargaining unit was described as:

Included: All the Police Officers of the City of Lynden.

Excluded: The Chief of Police.

On March 17, 2021, Teamsters Local 231 filed a written disclaimer of all representation rights concerning the bargaining unit, effective immediately.

ORDER

The certification issued in City of Lynden, Decision 76 (PECB, 1976) is withdrawn. Teamsters Local 231’s request is granted, and Teamsters Local 231 no longer represents the bargaining unit.
