Mason Transit Authority, Decision 13269 (PECB, 2020)

STATE OF WASHINGTON

BEFORE THE PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS COMMISSION

In the matter of the petition of:

INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MACHINISTS AND AEROSPACE WORKERS DISTRICT LODGE NO. 160

Involving certain employees of:

MASON TRANSIT AUTHORITY

CASE 133155-E-20

DECISION 13269 - PECB

ORDER WITHDRAWING CERTIFICATION

 

On January 26, 2016, this agency certified the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District Lodge 160 (union) as the exclusive bargaining representative of Dispatchers and Schedulers employed by the Mason Transit Authority. Mason Transit Authority, Decision 12508-A (PECB, 2016). At that time the bargaining unit was described as:

 

All full-time and regular part-time Dispatcher/Schedulers employed by Mason Transit Authority, excluding supervisors, confidential employees, employees in other bargaining units, and all other employees.

 

On November 17, 2020, the union filed a written disclaimer of all representation rights concerning the bargaining unit, effective immediately.

 

ORDER

 

The certification issued in Mason Transit Authority, Decision 12508-A (PECB, 2016) is withdrawn, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District Lodge 160’s request is granted, and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District Lodge 160 no longer represents the bargaining unit.
