ORDER REVOKING CERTIFICATION

 

 

On May 27, 2014, this agency clarified a bargaining unit of supervisory employees represented by the Technical Employees Association (union) that work in the King County Department of Parks and Natural Resources Waste Water Treatment Division (employer).  King County, Decision 12069 (PECB, 2014).  The employer previously voluntarily recognized the union as the exclusive bargaining representative of the bargaining unit.  Id.  The bargaining unit is currently described as “All full-time and regular part-time supervisory employees in the Project Planning and Delivery, Resource Recovery, Brightwater, and Environmental and Community Services sections of the Wastewater Treatment Division of the King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks, excluding non-supervisory employees, confidential employees, managers, and all other employees of the employer.”  Id.

 

On June 14, 2019, the union filed a written disclaimer of all representation rights concerning the supervisory Waste Water Treatment Division bargaining unit, effective immediately.

 

ORDER

 

The certification issued by the Public Employment Relations Commission in case 26451-C-14-1589 is withdrawn and the Technical Employees Association no longer represents the supervisory employees in the King County Department of Parks and Natural Resources Waste Water Treatment Division.
