The above-captioned matter was docketed on the basis of a unit clarification petition filed by the employer on September 23, 1991. The employer proposed exclusion of the "Assistant Chief/Fire Marshal" from the bargaining unit. The case was routinely assigned to a member of the Commission staff. Subsequent contacts produced information that the matter was resolved, but a written withdrawal of the petition was not filed. On May 17, 1994, the parties were given 14 days in which to show cause why this matter should not be dismissed for lack of prosecution. Nothing further has been heard or received from the parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is
ORDERED
The petition for clarification of an existing bargaining unit filed in the above-captioned matter is DISMISSED.
