In the matter of the petition of: |
|
TEAMSTERS UNION, LOCAL 763 |
CASE 9014-E-91-1490 |
Involving certain employees of: |
DECISION 3780-A - PECB |
TOWN OF SULTAN |
ORDER CLOSING CASE |
Thomas Krett, Business Representative, for the union.
Robert Olsen, Labor Relations Representative for the employer.
The petition for investigation of a question concerning representation was filed in the above-entitled matter on February 8, 1991. The parties entered into an Election Agreement and a Supplemental Agreement pursuant to the rules of the Commission. A representation election was conducted on May 3, 1991 and an Interim Certification was issued on May 13, 1991,[1] designating the Teamsters Union, Local 763 as the exclusive bargaining representative of:
All full-time and regular part-time employees of the Town of Sultan; excluding elected officials, officials appointed for fixed terms, supervisors, confidential employees and casual employees.
The union therefore notified the Commission that it is withdrawing its claim to the positions listed in the Supplemental Agreement. It therefore appears that no current dispute remains concerning the selection of a bargaining representative.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is
ORDERED
1. The certification issued on May 13, 1991 will stand as the certification of representatives in this case.
2. The above-entitled matter is now closed.
DATED at Olympia, Washington, this 31th day of July, 1991.
PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS COMMISSION
