STATE OF WASHINGTON

BEFORE THE PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS COMMISSION

In the matter of the petition of:

WASHINGTON STATE COUNCIL OF COUNTY AND CITY EMPLOYEES

CASE 8063-E-89-1366

DECISION 3260-A - PECB

Involving certain employees of:

KING COUNTY

ORDER CLOSING CASE

These proceedings were initiated by a representation petition filed on June 30, 1989. A cross-check agreement and a supplemental agreement were filed by the parties. A cross-check of employment records was conducted by the Commission on August 8, 1989. An interim certification was issued on August 16, 1989, designating the petitioner as exclusive bargaining representative for a bargaining unit described as:

All full-time and regular part-time employees of King County District Court Probation Services; Excluding the Probation Director, Counselor II's, Supervisors, confidential employees, and all other employees of the employer.

King County, Decision 3260 (PECB, 1989).

The supplemental agreement indicated that the employer and the petitioner disagreed as to the bargaining unit placement of employees holding the title of "Volunteer Coordinator".

During the course of ensuing discussions, the parties resolved the issue reserved in the supplemental agreement. On October 12, 1990, the union filed a letter stating that all unit determination issues have been resolved. Examination of the matter indicates that there are no further issues which must be addressed by the Commission. Accordingly, the matter appears to be resolved, and the representation case can be closed.

NOW, THEREFORE, it is

ORDERED

1.                  The certification of bargaining representative issued in King County, Decision 3260 (PECB,1989) shall stand as the final certification in the above-captioned matter.

2.                  The above-captioned case is closed.

DATED at Olympia, Washington, this 11th day of December, 1990.
