Involving certain employees of:

 

ISLAND COUNTY

ORDER CLOSING CASE

On November 12, 1985, the above named-petitioner filed a timely and properly supported petition with the Public Employment Relations Commission, seeking certification as exclusive bargaining representative of certain employees of Island County. The parties entered into an election agreement and supplemental agreement on January 8, 1986. An interim certification was issued on February 21, 1986, naming the petitioner as the exclusive bargaining representative for the bargaining unit agreed to be appropriate. Island County, Decision 2397 (PECB, 1986). A hearing set on the matters reserved in the supplemental agreement was subsequently continued at the request of the parties.

On December 10, 1986, the petitioner and Island County jointly filed with the Commission an agreement resolving all of the issues that had been reserved in the supplemental agreement. The Executive Director has considered the matter and is satisfied that there remains no further dispute to be resolved in the captioned matter.

NOW, THEREFORE, it is

ORDERED

1.                  The certification issued on February 21, 1986 will stand as the certification of representatives in this case.

2.                  These proceedings are closed in the absence of any further dispute to be resolved by the Commission.
