The above-named petitioner having filed a petition with the Public Employment Relations Commission seeking investigation of a question concerning representation involving certain employees of the above-named employer; and the parties having entered into an election agreement and a supplemental agreement pursuant to the rules of the Commission; and the Commission having conducted a representation election and certified the results thereof by an interim order issued on December 26, 1985, City of Chehalis, Decision 2359 (PECB, 1985); and a hearing having been convened on January 22, 1986 for the purpose of taking evidence on the issues reserved in the supplemental agreement; and, during the course of that hearing, the parties having stipulated to resolve those issues by exclusion of the position of lieutenant from the appropriate bargaining unit described in the certification; and the Executive Director having considered the matter and being satisfied that the stipulation of the parties should be accepted and the matter closed;

NOW, THEREFORE, it is

ORDERED

1          The description of the bargaining unit in the above-entitled matter is amended to specify:

All full-time and regular part-time employees of the police department, excluding the Chief of Police, Police Lieutenant, confidential employees and other employees of the employer.

2          There being no further issues in dispute between the parties in this proceeding, the case is closed.
