BEFORE THE PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS COMMISSION

In the matter of the petition of:

 

PUBLIC, PROFESSIONAL & OFFICE CLERICAL EMPLOYEES AND DRIVERS LOCAL NO. 763, INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSTERS, CHAUFFEURS, WAREHOUSEMEN AND HELPERS OF AMERICA

CASE NO. 3436-E-81-668

 

DECISION NO. 1207-A PECB

Involving certain employees of:

ORDER CLOSING CASE

KING COUNTY WATER DISTRICT NO. 81

 

The above-named labor organization having filed a petition with the Public Employment Relations Commission for investigation of a question concerning representation of certain employees of the above-named public employer; and the parties having entered into an election agreement under the rules of the Commission together with a supplemental agreement reserving for litigation issues concerning eligibility of certain classifications of employees for inclusion in the bargaining unit; and the Commission having conducted a representation election wherein the results indicated that the petitioning labor organization was entitled to certification as the exclusive bargaining representative of the bargaining unit; and the Commission having, on July 17, 1981, issued a conditional certification reserving for subsequent determination issues concerning foremen and independent contractors; and a scheduled hearing on the reserved issues having been postponed with the concurrence of both parties in order to accommodate settlement discussions; and the Commission having been notified, in writing, that the matters remaining at issue had been resolved;

NOW, THEREFORE, it is

ORDERED

1          The conditions reserved in the certification issued on July 17, 1981 are stricken and that order stands as the certification of the petitioner as exclusive bargaining representative of the bargaining unit.

2          The above-entitled matter is closed.
