STATE OF WASHINGTON

BEFORE THE PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS COMMISSION

In the matter of the petition of:

Involving certain employees of:

 

PIERCE COUNTY

ORDER WITHDRAWING CERTIFICATION AND CLOSING CASE

The above-named employee filed a petition for investigation of a question concerning representation with the Public Employment Relations Commission, seeking decertification of Teamsters Union, Local 117 as the exclusive bargaining representative of employees of Pierce County.  During the processing of the petition, Teamsters Union, Local 117 filed with the Commission a written disclaimer of all representation rights in the bargaining unit covered by the decertification petition, so that no question concerning representation remains to be determined.

NOW, THEREFORE, it is

ORDERED

1.                  The certification issued by the Public Employment Relations Commission in Case 6026-E-85-1078 is withdrawn.

2.                  The proceedings in the above-captioned matter are CLOSED.
